The Hydro-Shield Bucket Hat is built for golfers who keep playing when the weather turns. The water-repellent shell sheds rain and coastal mist, and the full 360° brim keeps water off your face and the back of your neck. It works just as well for sun on a clear day.

It comes in two real sizes instead of one-size-fits-all. The Big Head option has a deeper crown and a larger circumference, so it sits comfortably without pinching. The clean, minimal look works on the course and off it.

Built for Wet Weather

  • Water-repellent shell. A dense synthetic fabric with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish makes rain bead up and roll off.
  • Seam-sealed construction. Sealed seams help keep water from getting through the stitching.
  • Breathable mesh lining. A lightweight, moisture-wicking mesh lining lets heat and sweat escape so your head doesn’t overheat on humid rounds.

Two Sizes, Real Fit

  • Regular (58 cm / 22.8 in): Fits most heads with a close, tailored feel. Roughly US hat size 7 1/4.
  • Big Head (63 cm / 24.8 in): A deeper crown and wider fit for larger heads, without the squeeze. Roughly US hat size 7 7/8.

How to measure: Wrap a soft tape measure around your head about 1 cm above your eyebrows and ears. If you measure over 58 cm, choose Big Head.

  • Packable. Folds into a golf bag pocket or carry-on and springs back into shape when you take it out.

Care Instructions

Follow these steps to protect the water-repellent finish and seam sealing:

  • Hand wash in cold water with mild soap, using a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Rinse well in cold water, especially after exposure to salt air or sea spray.
  • Lay flat to dry in the shade.
  • Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean.
  • Tip: When water stops beading on the surface, restore it with a spray-on DWR treatment.

Is the Hydro-Shield Bucket Hat waterproof?
The shell has a water-repellent finish and sealed seams, so it handles steady rain well. Over time the finish wears down, and a spray-on DWR treatment brings it back.

Which size should I choose?
Measure around your head just above your eyebrows. Up to 58 cm, choose Regular. Over 58 cm, or if most hats feel tight, choose Big Head.

Can I pack it without ruining the shape?
Yes. It folds into a bag pocket and returns to shape when you take it out.

Will it make my head hot?
The mesh lining is breathable and wicks moisture, which helps heat and sweat escape during warm, humid rounds.

How do I clean it?
